The events of 2020 have meant that the independent retail environment has been extremely challenging. It’s a market where we are proud to say the sector has really stepped up and through working closely with our supplier base we have been able to differentiate ourselves from the competition and gain market share.
We felt that now, more than ever, it was important to work together with our suppliers, partners and Nisa head office teams to really showcase Nisa as well as the full range of Co-op own label products. We are really proud to create the first ever Nisa Virtual Expo that will include all the usual features of Stoneleigh, together with some additional interaction that is only available through a virtual platform.

We're delighted to bring you the Co-op led 'Category Talks' on the main stage. Using the latest shopper and market insight we'll be providing guidance on the categories set to win along with advice on how to remain relevant to the needs of shoppers in the recession.
Nisa’s Latest Evolution Store Format
Be the first to see and learn about Nisa Express, Nisa’s latest Evolution store format. This incorporates many exciting innovations, by exploring the visuals on the Evolution Store portal page this will give you further insight into this exciting new format. You will have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the experts and equip yourself with all the tools you need to make your business the best in the game.
Visit the expo page of the virtual portal where you can browse the supplier categories and select the stands you would like to view. Stand features include; downloadable documents that you are able to take away and share with your team, information on the latest products and you can also request samples where the button appears.
1-2-1 Supplier Appointments
The supplier appointment calendars will go live on the 12th October. You will be given access to the Nisa Expo 2020 Portal where you can browse suppliers and make appointments directly with a company representative. All your appointments will appear in your dashboard under My Calendar. During the appointment you will have the chance to speak by video or audio call regarding the latest products. Remember, you need to attend six appointments to qualify for your deals.
Access to Exclusive on the day Deals
The on the day deals will go live two weeks prior to the 20th October, enabling you to browse the deals and create a favourites list to place your final order.

Visit the MADL Charity stand to hear about the latest fund raising ideas and celebrate partners' successes.
Network with like-minded partners
Share ideas and best practice via the 1-2-1 chat function in the online platform, search for people you know, connect and exchange.
Visit the Epos Stand to see the latest offerings. Enjoy live demos and have 1-2-1 conversations with the experts regarding self-checkout, save money moving to Worldpay, media screens with managed content and competitive pricing.

Travelling to the venue is no longer an obstacle to attend the event and benefit from all the usual Stoneleigh features and much more.
DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Access to gain entry to the online portal will be given via email. You will be able to familiarise yourself with the system and amend your profile, make 1-2-1 appointments with your suppliers and browse and place your deal orders.
The live virtual Nisa Retail Expo will take place. You will be able to view live and pre-recorded main stage sessions, attend your appointments and make deal orders across the two days.
Can I register my colleagues to attend?
Yes, when you go to the register now button at the top of the page as part of the registration it will ask if you would like to register additional attendees. All you need to ensure you have is a unique email for each of your additional colleagues so we can grant access to the virtual portal for the individual.
When can I book my supplier appointments?
Prior to the event you will receive instructions of how to access the platform and pre-book your supplier appointments.
When can I view and book my deals?
Two weeks prior to the event you will be able to view the deals on the online portal and save them to your deal favourites to create a list to input directly into the OCS ordering system with your usual log-in details. Your deal orders will be validated post-expo based on you meeting the engagement criteria.
How will I access the virtual event?
Two weeks before the expo each person registered to attend within your group will receive a unique log-in code to access the virtual portal.
How will the virtual event work?
The benefit of holding the Nisa Expo virtually means that you can plan your normal day-to-day activities around the sessions you want to attend and supplier appointments you book meaning you do not need to sit at your laptop for the full two days!
Ahead of the live expo days you will have access to read up on the main stage sessions and diarise those you would like to attend. You will also receive a user interaction video that walks you through how to use the virtual portal and where to find what you need.
